2010 Committees

Purpose:
This is a new committee that began in 2009. The goal of this committee is to help further the education of some students who may need to go to summer school for the Jump Start Program and are in need of financial assistance. The Chamber collects monetary donations at the Chamber Office for a Highland Student Support Fund and the school system would be in charge of distributing the funds from this project. This program is open to all incoming kindergarten and first grade students at all Highland Elementary Schools.

Breakfast With The Easter Bunny          March 27, 2010

Purpose:
Community event for families to have a contintental breakfast, meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny and other mascots, Easter Bunny Mailbox, and other entertainment.

Purpose:
Community event open to the public for Chamber members to advertise their products, and for restaurants to advertise their dishes. Event includes fashion show, silent auction, restaurant taste sampling and voting.

Purpose:
Two representatives from the Chamber will help in the planning of the Town of Highland 100th year Anniversary. The full committee will be formed and appointed by the Town Council according to the ordinance. More information about the 100th Anniversary can be obtained from Michael Griffin and Bernie Zemen and other members of the Town Council.

Purpose:
Chamber Fundraiser and Social Gathering for Chamber Members and the Community

Purpose:
