and race as quickly as possible throughout the Town of Highland visiting Chamber Member Businesses with the winner getting to the finish line first.

Jack O'Lantern Jog
The Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K race is held on October 25th held at Main Square Park. We welcome costumed runners, walkers and dogs. This race is a fun event for the entire family so bring the little one in the stroller

Highland/Griffith Golf Outing
The Highland /Griffith Chamber Golf Outing will be held on Friday, July 18th at the Wicker Park Golf Course. The cost is $100 per golfer and includes the golf, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes! Hole sponsorship and door prizes are welcomed!

The Tour de Highland takes place on Saturday, June 7 at Wicker Park Pavilion.The 8 mile (all Pavement) and 10 mile family-friendly bike ride through Highland included a cook out lunch provided by Texas Corral and a promotional giveaway. About 200 bicyclists and volunteers come out for this event and have a great time! The route showcases the new bike path tunnel under Indianapolis Blvd.

Pizza Palooza was on May 12th and the winner of the Favorite Pizza Award was won by Capri's Pizza for the second year!
Congratulations to all the member Pizza Restaurants who participated the crowd loved everyone's pizza.
Love Your Business
Love Your Business was February 13, 2014 at The Center for Visual and Performing Arts. This is a four Chamber expo with Highland, Munster, Griffith and Dyer participating.
Best of Highland
Congratulations to Best of Highland Finalists and Award Winners. Business Members and Leaders from the Highland Community are honored at this event, including Businessmen and Women, Innovators, Educators, Civil Servants, and Residents.The event also featured participating Chamber Member restaurants who compete in the Taste of Highland portion of the event. (Voting for Best Restaurant Award at event.) Congratulations to Traditions Restaurant & Pub, who won the Top Taste Award for the second year.
Norma Fross - The Highland Kiddie Shop won the Highland Chamber Legacy Award.
CIVIL SERVANT AWARDS: Cindy Rivera (North Township Trustee Office) for Civil Servant, John Bach for Public Works, Laura Wanicki for Highland Parks Department, John Siple (Police Department) and Bill Timmer (Fire Department for Public Safety, Larry Vassar (School Board Member) for School Town of Highland.
CHAMBER AWARDS: Carrie Upchurch (Standard Bank & Trust) for Chamber Board Member, Doug Lewis (Edward Jones) for Chamber Volunteer and Terry Krooswyk (Krooswyk Trucking & Excavating) for Business Person. Beautification Awards were given to Apex Construction & Remodeling, Cakes by Karen, Christenson Chevrolet, Circle Buick, GMC, Culvers in Highland, Highland Volkswagen, Jane Berland School of Dance (Pat & Nick Popa), Matthew Hunniford & Co. and Strack & Van Til Corporate Office.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
The Highland Chamber is hosting Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on April 12th at Highland High School Cafeteria . Children get to meet the Easter Bunny along with several other characters. Two bicycles are raffled for each session.
